St. Patrick's Day

Oh how I just love these two!

These two have such a sweet bond I'm almost jealous of. :) It's just the sweetest thing in the world to see how much these two just 'get' each other. No question they are each others' favorite person.

Me and sweet Benners. He is such a kind and sweet little boy! He's so polite and loving. Such a big big heart!

 

EASTER! We did this Easter photo shoot about a week before Easter - same as Aria's birth sister and cousin and about 3 1/2 weeks later finally got them! Such sweeties! Couple more of them to the right in the sidebar. :)

I love this photo. Aria loves Dancing and wants Daddy to dance with her all the time. And, since she has Daddy wrapped around her finger..

Our close friend (and the kids' best friend's mom) found out at 31 weeks pregnant that she has cancer. A lot of friends and ward members send words of love and we put them on hearts. A&B helped "heart attack" her house with all of the words of encouragement. Such good helpers. They have been so worried about our friend and so sweet to be thinking of her and wanting so show love. We've been heartbroken about all of this. :(

More cousin time! Kylie this time! Alecia comes a lot but doesn't like her photo taken. :)

Aria wanted me to take a photo of her dog "Rose". She's so cute!

Rose wasn't "allowed outside" because she can get dirty, so she sat in the doorway and watched us play. :) Haha!

Randomness and giggles

Sometimes we joke about how Ben is an "old soul" he loves sitting in his little lawn chair with a blanket pulled up on his lap. :)

I had these on the counter from looking for something in the spice cupboard and when I came back in the kitchen, Aria had these stacked so well. Haha! 

TP Animal Farm Adventure

A couple weeks ago we went to the Animal Farm at Thanksgiving Point with Kids on the Move. They are such a great organization to make so many things available to the children they work with as well as their families! Ben has been doing REALLY well working with them. He just LOVES Linda our Developmental Specialist. We love her too!

We got to do so many fun things while we were here. The kids got to touch so many animals and see so many others that we couldn't touch too.

Both kids weigh about the same as 10 chickens according to this. (They both weigh 31 lbs each)

 So many horses! This little baby Shetland was so little and the kids just loved her. She kept trying to eat their clothes. They thought it was pretty funny.

They had a little "Old Towne" area where they had little play houses. This one was the jail. That little girl in there didn't want to leave!

I love Peacocks. There was a very big and beautiful one that opened her feathers as we were getting ready to leave. Aria too was fascinated by it. It's body was a metallic looking blue and it's feathers were just the prettiest thing ever. There was a beautiful all-white one there too that I didn't get a photo of when she opened up. Made my day!

We also went on a carriage ride. The kids were loving the massively big horses that weighed about 2500lbs each! Okay, I was loving it too. :) They were huge and so strong! Hard not to be amazed by nature and animals when looking at a horse like that.

We had such a good time! So glad we were able to go and that Drew could take a day of work and come too! They've been so busy that it's not easy for him to take off lately - and been working a lot of extra hours!

Play Park

We have been trying to video the kids even more so we can see how they grow and change. We were at the park with Monsons and I thought it would be fun to follow the kids around to show how they run and play at this point in time. It was fun!

Blogger is tricky sometimes and wouldn't upload Ben's so to You.tube it went!

I followed the kids down the slide again. This time went better! Haha! I love how Ellie is screaming behind me on the way down! She's so cute and fun!

Summer Fun - Splash pad

We've heard about the splash pad in Highland for some time now - but finally made it there a few weeks ago. We went with Kendra, Ellie & Tommy. All the kids loved it. It's a very kid friendly place. I would say the ideal ages for the place are 1 year old to 5 years old though.

And, we had a fun picnic there!
