St. Patrick's Day

Oh how I just love these two!

These two have such a sweet bond I'm almost jealous of. :) It's just the sweetest thing in the world to see how much these two just 'get' each other. No question they are each others' favorite person.

Me and sweet Benners. He is such a kind and sweet little boy! He's so polite and loving. Such a big big heart!

 

EASTER! We did this Easter photo shoot about a week before Easter - same as Aria's birth sister and cousin and about 3 1/2 weeks later finally got them! Such sweeties! Couple more of them to the right in the sidebar. :)

I love this photo. Aria loves Dancing and wants Daddy to dance with her all the time. And, since she has Daddy wrapped around her finger..

Our close friend (and the kids' best friend's mom) found out at 31 weeks pregnant that she has cancer. A lot of friends and ward members send words of love and we put them on hearts. A&B helped "heart attack" her house with all of the words of encouragement. Such good helpers. They have been so worried about our friend and so sweet to be thinking of her and wanting so show love. We've been heartbroken about all of this. :(

Aria wanted me to take a photo of her dog "Rose". She's so cute!

Rose wasn't "allowed outside" because she can get dirty, so she sat in the doorway and watched us play. :) Haha!

February

February in photos:

This picture was just too cute. I found this in Ben's room. It's his little Baby Bear on a little bed he made for it on the floor. So stinkin' cute!

 We are a fort making family and this is one A&B made. So proud of them!

 In February we celebrate Daddy's birthday. I made a yummy caramel cheesecake that turned out awesome! Cheesecake is Drew's favorite. We had a lot of fun with him going to dinner one night, celebrating with his family another, and my side another. We like to stretch out birthdays as much as we can!

 Aria's artwork. I absolutely LOVE how she draws and what she draws! She has such an imagination and is so clever!

Me, Aria and My Mom went to go see Beauty and the Beast at our local high school. It was so much fun! Aria was fascinated by it. She loves princess things, Belle and music. It was perfect. It was just a little too long for a 3 year old, but she made a friend that she played with during. At the end she got to meet the girl who was Belle in the play. She was very excited, but nervous. :D

 Lots and lots of snow days. We played in it a lot. Aria wanted to run out and catch snowflakes quick!

 I've got this weird lung issue so I've had to take some time away from running and exercising. I was sad to miss my favorite race, but got to go watch my running buddy/motivator/brother-in-law Lance run it! Got some great shots of him!

 

Christmas: The Day!

 Christmas is like 1000x better with kids. I know I say that every year, but it is so re-enforced each year! The light in their eyes and the excitement they bring to everything is just wonderful. Best part was, we were all healthy for the day! Ben got the flu on the 11th, and Aria got it on the 17th. Aria got it really bad, much worse than Ben. After Christmas I got a really bad head cold.

Aria asked Santa for one of his flying reindeer. Yes, one of HIS reindeer. Santa told her that he couldn't give her one because he needed them, but that he would take a photo of one and sign it. We helped that to happen, and Aria decided it was Blitzen! She's still packing it around and showing it to anyone who will look. She got so many fun things!

Ben wanted trucks and trains. Of any kind. Ben loves anything with wheels. I swear somewhere my family and his birth family have to have some genetic relation. Like 3rd cousins or something! He wanted to sleep with his new train set that night.

Also, Aria told us that Santa wanted Cookies and Caffeine, not Milk because he had a lot of houses to go to. Hahahahahaha! 

I love how Aria stood looking and thinking about the fact that Santa ate those cookies for so long! And Ben wanted cereal before presents! Haha!

 For my birthday 2 days before my mom gave me cinnamon bread. We made french toast out of it. It was SO DELICIOUS!
