Backing up a bit before Christmas, and leading up to it, here's a sampling of the fun and traditions that we have.
We made ginger bread houses. Something we love to do each year. It was fun doing it with 4 now!
Aria had a blast putting on as much as she could onto her ginger bread man, and was more methodical when decorating the house. So cute! Ben was a little upset at first when we told him he couldn't just eat all the candy - but after he decorated a bit, we gave him a little pile. He was set!
My Birthday! I turned This year my mom got out the chime set she has and we attempted to make songs!
For Drew's side of the family Christmas gathering we go bowling, to a movie, and pizza! This year Drew was the champ for the guys, and I was for the girls!

Christmas day we got to chat with this dude too! So refreshing to hear his voice. My little brother/nephew Jason on his LDS Mission in CTWe got to see most of our birth families too! They were so sweet and the kids handmade cards for them. We love them so much! The kids loved the gifts they got from them too. It's been so neat as always to see the love they have for both kids. For the most part, both kids have been accepted fully into each others' birth families and that is such a special thing! Aria was able to meet for the first time her new little birth-sister. We hope to one day meet Ben's older birth-sister too (though he has met her, we have not yet). So many people to love!
This week is FULL of birthdays and of course ringing in 2012! Time to set our goals for the year and record our family history of 2011. Can't wait!
